How do I find and buy a Stock Footage Clip?

On the Intercips welcome page you can see several categories. You can click through them page by page or you can use the integrated "Search". With a click on the preview image of a clip a small window opens in which the clip is being played. If you click on the title of a clip you get to a descriptional page where you can see technical details.
If you click on the button "Add to Cart" the clip is being memorized by your shopping cart. After we have completed your order we will send you an Email in which you can find a download link for the clip you ordered. Optionally you can get the clip also via CD or any other offered medium.

What does " Royalty-free" mean?

• You only pay once for a clip and can use it as often as you want.
• Except of the nonrecurring royalty at the beginning there won't be any other license payments.
• The royalty free licence is only valid for the clip of the link which you have received in your Email.
• The clips are allowed to be shown as well in commercial as also in non commercial projects.
• Only the customer or a person acting in his will is allowed to use the bought clips.

Can I use a clip in more than one production?

Yes, as long as the clip is not part of a Website-Templates, or is about to be sold to a third person.

Can I use a clip with my cutting program?

Every clip is available in the Quicktime-fileformat (.mov). Most of the cutting software whichis available for Mac OS (Apple) and Windows (PC) can read it. You find the technical details, such as the used videcodec, the framerate, picture size and so on, for every clip next to it. This makes it easier for you to decide if your cutting softwawre is able to open the file or not. There are some files which you can download for free.

How to retrieve clips?

To retrieve single clips, you have to open the one you want to keep. Then you click on the button "Add to Cart ". Please note that the bag empties itself after some time (Especially if you restart your browser). In this case you should take down the Clip-Id. With this number you can easily find the clip again.

Do bought clips have a watermark?

All bought clips are free of any watermarks.

Which paying possibilities do you offer?

Interclips offers prepayment and payment via PayPal. First of all you have to add the clip to your shopping cart. There you find a button which says "Buy per PayPal". PayPal offers creditcard payment.

Does Interclips offer format converting?

If you want us to we convert your clip into the format you want.

Do I get a bill for my order?

Usually you receive your bill via Email attachment (PDF). On special occasions we also offer to send you the bill via mail.

How long and how often can I download a file?

For the first 72 hrs you can download the clip as often as you want. After that the download link is not longer available. You should save the clip for a later usage on a CD.

I have lost a clip which I had bought already some time ago . How can I download it again?

After you have bought a stock footage clip there are 72 hrs remaining to download it. After that you should store your clip on an appropriate Backup medium (CD, DVD etc). If you want to download the clip after that time you have to pay for it again.

When I buy a clip do I also receive the Model Release contract?

Interclips has got all the Model Release contracts for the footage we are offering. According to civil rights we do not give away any copies. You do only get such a copy if a special administration asks us to.

Does Interclips also offer 2D and 3D animations?

You can find those in the category "Animationen/FX".
